RI Generations is a partnership made up of individuals and representatives of organizations from all over RI, including those listed on the bottom of each web-page (Currently, only members with a web-link).  Conceptionalized following the St. Louis Accord meeting in 2005, the RI Culture Change Coalition was formed and started meeting in February 2006.  In early 2007, the members determined to rename the coalition to RI Generations.

RI Generations works to focus on one of the most important aspects of the reality of needing nursing home care; and that is that the care and services provided must be person-centered.  Our focus is on individualized care and being resident-centered in providing care and services to individuals residing in nursing homes.

RI Generations recently initiated their new web site.  There is much to be developed, but now our group has a 'Public' identity and we intend to work it to the benefit of all residents in all of RI's nursing homes.  

RI Generations will be staging our first symposium on November 14th, 2007 and our keynote speaker will be Nancy Fox from the Eden Alternative.
